Reason For This Site
My name is Karen Booth (Brown, Stinnett, Eggers). After my Mom, Betty JoAnne Booth passed, I developed a passion for genealogy. Sadly, a lot of her knowledge was lost to me. Even though it's now so much easier to find the answers on the internet's databanks, a lot has not been documented or can be incorrect.
During my many, many hours of searching for family ancestors, verifying accuracy, and copying it into numerous notebooks, I searched for a way to convey the information to all family members in an easy to access and easy to understand format. After all, the information does no good locked up in a drawer. This is knowledge that everyone in the family should be able to have at their fingertips. So therefore, the Great-Great website seemed to be the logical source to do just that. The term great-great is referring to the William David Booth and Betty JoAnne Killough children. My cousins, on either side will share either my Mom's or my Dad's side.
This is a work in progress and will continue to grow as long as there is information, media, ideas, or pictures to add. Please contact me with any stories, corrections, additional information or photos you wish to add.
Building the website and getting all the information on it is going to take awhile, so please be patient. Be sure to keep an eye out on the New Addition page for what I've added and the Current Research page for what I'm working on.
This will not be in the traditional family tree format. Each branch of the family will have its' own section and will be in story form as much as possible, with the information in an easy to read and understand form.
If anyone has information to pass on, I will gladly add it. Also, photos are greatly welcome and appreciated. Feel free to share this site with others.
It is my wish that even though a lot of us are separated by distance, we can be brought closer together by understanding where we came from and the struggles that our ancestors endured to raise a family. It is also my wish that each family member gain more understanding of who they are by knowing where they came from.
Happy Reading,

Why Great-Great
The great-great grandparents seemed to be a solid place to start. For one thing, I already had most of the information on them, so therefore this was an obvious place to anchor as I go in search of additional ancestors documentation, and verification. I go to great lengths to make sure the information I have is true and correct. If I have information that has not been verified, I will put words in like "thought to", "probably", "might be", etc. Facts are stated as facts and have been verified.
I also am not going to put the names of living people on any page without their permission, They will be identified as son or daughter, or with the first letter of the first name.
